“With my family background, I had only dreamed about going to a school like Yale,” said Joyce. “To have it come true is incredible.” Drew felt similarly honored, "Since I started grade school, I have dreamed of bettering my own situation and the world around me by attending a top university.  I knew I could only accomplish this with significant help - help that recently came in the form of the Questbridge College Match, which has afforded me the opportunity to attend Princeton University at no cost to me!"

Both Joyce and Drew have demonstrated incredible determination and talent in order to gain admission to their respective prestigious universities. Joyce credits her hard work and determination to her experience growing up in China and watching her parents struggle to provide her with a comfortable home life. She has seen how hard her parents work to provide her with a good life and in turn she is determined to succeed and use her talents to help the working poor. Drew, also credits the financial worries that plagued his mother throughout his childhood for providing him with a drive to succeed. He has long maintained the dream of becoming the first member of his family to begin a degree program after high school.
