Lisa Biermann Brings Technology Expertise to Hamilton Friends
Lisa Biermann was first introduced to Hamilton Friends in 2007 when she attended the Hamilton Leaders Gala. Since then, she has been an active participant in Hamilton Friends’ events.  Most recently, Lisa became a member of Hamilton Friends Technology Committee, which began in January of 2009. She brings with her 15 years of customer service and operations management experience and a passion for helping young people succeed.

“I have always been interested in volunteering my time to organizations that have a compelling objective,” Lisa said. “I really like the idea of a group that works with young adults, and one which has such a broad reach.”

Through the technology committee, Lisa has worked to help Hamilton Friends identify and implement a new CRM database system. In March, she was instrumental in making the decision to adopt the SalesForce CRM system.

“We chose Salesforce because it is a database that we believe will help us track valuable information that will in turn help to further develop the organization,” Lisa said.

Recently Lisa has found time to reignite her passion for skiing and is a parent volunteer for the Green Gables Elementary School Math Team, which took 1st place in a division contest at Mt. Rainier High School in March. Lisa is most excited about her recent involvement with the Unlimited Light Hydroplane Racing Association, where she provides them with administrative support.

As the Technology Committee moves forward, Lisa hopes her work will enhance the way Hamilton Friends help youth succeed. She hopes to see her three sons being involved in such a program someday.

“I am hoping that when the time comes, there will be many great organizations accessible to them, such as Hamilton Friends that will help guide them in making important life decisions, challenge them to explore new ideas, and instill a strong sense of leadership,” Lisa said.
